Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,
'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me,
'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM.
This is what you are to say to the Israelites:
'I AM has sent me to you.'"
(Exodus 3:13,14)
I AM the Lord your God (Leviticus 19:3) ...
I AM the Son of God (Matthew 27:43) ...
I AM the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8) ...
I AM the First and the Last (Revelation 1:17) ...
Are you weary? He is rest (Matthew11:28). Are you burdened? He is peace (Isaiah 26:3). Are you lost? He is salvation (Hebrews 9:28). Are you lonely? He is near (Deuteronomy 4:7).
Thank you, Jesus, for being the great I AM. There is absolutely nothing that You cannot satisfy, cannot salvage, and cannot sustain. I thank You today for being I AM in my life. Anything I am in need of, Lord ... You are.
What about you?
Are you praising God for being Imperishable (indestructible)? For being Incorruptible? For His Infinite understanding? For the Inheritance you have through Jesus? Is He your Instruction? Your Intimate God?
"I AM the Alpha and Omega," says the LORD God,
"who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
(Revelation 1:8)
